How Adding a Space on SupaSpace is Structured
On SupaSpace, a space is an area within a property. A property can be a building, piece of land, billboard, warehouse, or any other location that contains one or more spaces.
Before you can add a space, you must first create the property that the space belongs to. Every space must exist within a property.
In some cases, you may want to publish the entire property instead of individual spaces within it. During property creation, you can specify whether the property itself is available for acquisition or whether only the spaces within it will be available.
Although only spaces are published on SupaSpace, properties that are available for acquisition are automatically represented as both a property and a space. In this case, the property itself becomes the published space.
After creating a property, you can add as many spaces as needed based on the number of physical spaces you want to make available for acquisition.
Note: If you created a property that is itself the published space (instead of having spaces within it), you cannot add additional spaces to that property.
Adding a Property
To create a property, navigate to the Properties page (the page with the house icon) and click New Property
Complete the property form with as much information as possible. While some fields are optional, providing more details helps guests better understand your property and improves their booking experience.
Selecting the Property Location
Click Select Neighborhood to choose where your property is located. You can search by neighborhood name or city and select the appropriate result.
If you cannot find your neighborhood and you're sure it isn't already listed, you can add it through Foxstation by clicking the Add Yours button or by visiting:New Neighborhood
Once your neighborhood has been added, you can return and select it as your property's location.
After creating your property, you can edit its details at any time, upload property images, or view the property's details page.
Adding a Space
If your property itself is available for acquisition, SupaSpace automatically creates its corresponding space during property creation. You can immediately continue adding more details by opening the property's details page and selecting Edit Space.
If your property contains multiple spaces, you'll need to add each one manually. Open the property's details page and click Add Space. Learn more about spaces here
Creating a new space lets you enter its initial information. After saving, you'll be taken to the next stage where you can continue editing the space.
You can view all spaces belonging to a property from the property's details page, or view every space you own from the Spaces page. From either location, you can open a space, edit it, or manage its details.
If multiple spaces are similar, you can duplicate an existing space from the space details page.
Tip: It's usually best to duplicate a space after you've finished adding all of its details. Remember to rename the duplicated space, as cloned spaces may include "- Copy" in their names.
Space Gallery — Adding Images and Videos
During the gallery stage, upload clear, high-quality images that accurately represent your space.
- A minimum of 4 images is required before a space can be published.
- Each image must be under 5 MB.
- You can upload up to 2 videos for each space.
Adding Payment Options, Features, Extras, Conditions, and Local Taxes
Payment Options
Payment options determine how guests pay for your space and allow you to offer different pricing structures.
Before attaching a payment option to a space, you'll first need to create it from the Payment Options page. Once created, you can reuse the same payment option across multiple spaces.
Most spaces can have multiple payment options, allowing guests to choose the payment structure that works best for them. Learn more here
Note:Space features, extras, conditions, and local taxes are attached using the same process.
Spaces listed for bidding can only have one payment option. This serves as the base price on which guests place their bids.
Conditions
Conditions are the terms and agreements between you and your guests. A space can have only one set of conditions, but the same conditions can be reused across multiple spaces.
Once a guest initiates a contract, those conditions become legally binding for that contract and cannot be modified. Learn more here
Local Taxes
Local taxes are available for jurisdictions where Foxstation does not collect taxes directly on behalf of the local authorities.
When attached to a space, these taxes are automatically included in the amount guests pay. The collected tax balance can later be withdrawn (remitted) from the tax rate's details page.
Important: Payment options, conditions, and extras are copied into a contract when a guest initiates it. Any edits you make afterward will only apply to future contracts. Existing contracts remain unchanged unless you and your guest mutually agree to new terms.
Adding Subspaces
Subspaces are areas within a space, such as bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, meeting rooms, storage rooms, or other sections depending on the type of property.
Subspaces are not priced separately. Instead, they are included as part of the parent space and help guests better understand what the space contains.
- Each subspace requires at least 2 images before the parent space can be published.
- You can upload up to 2 videos for each subspace.
Conclusion
Once you've completed each stage and attached all the necessary information, your space is ready to be published for guests to discover and acquire.
If you're not ready to accept acquisition requests, you can publish your space as a Preview. This allows guests to view and save your listing while preventing them from initiating acquisitions.
You can manage all your published spaces from the Spaces page. Contracts are managed from their respective contract pages (Bookings, Rentals, Leases, Sales, and Bidding), while all new acquisition requests are available on the Confirmations page.
Note: For bidding spaces, all bids can be viewed and managed directly from the space's details page.
